why does mrs al smith comment o the french peopl?

Open in App
Solution

Firstly Mrs Al Smith gets very impatient about French people's way of doing business. She says that they should have hung the price as well on the placard which suggested Villa for Sale. She felt that the French people were very rude ("cute") because they did not waste time in doing business and said that they struck a deal only if it was okay with them. She also said later that the French men usually consulted ten people before taking a decision. She wanted to buy the villa soon and was getting impatient. That is the reason she uses so many comparisons of the sort.
