Why does the emty set is called a finite set ? As per your notings finite set contains a finite no. of elements, but how is this true for Empty set. Kindly Explain.

A set is called finite set if it contains finite number of elements. The elements of the finite set are countable. An empty set has no elements i.e., an empty set contains 0 element. Since 0 is countable so, an empty set is finite.
