why does transpiration in taller plants help to transport water to greater heights?

Solution
Transpiration creates a water stress in the leaves of taller trees that in turn creates a water pull that run downward upto the root. This water potential or pull transport water from lower parts to the upper part of the taller trees that are even 100 meters of height. If transpiration like process is not present in these trees that there is no other process to transport water upto several metre high in these trees.
