Why is a soccer ball shaped like a sphere ?
Why does a soccer ball not burst because of the force of the kick applied by the players ?

Solution

Soccer ball is shaped like sphere so that it can easily roll down on the ground. On kicking it doesn't burst due to the elastic nature of rubber through which it is made. On kicking it gets deformed for sometime but comes back to its original position within seconds.
