Solution

The endocrine glands affect body activities by releasing hormones into the blood stream. These hormones are essential for proper growth and development of body. These bring about the changes in the cells. On the other hand neural system works on the principle of passing impulses through neurons which cannot reach each and every cell. Neural system maintains control and coordination but cannot bring about the growth and development of the body. Hence, endocrine glands are important for proper functioning of our body.
