Why is hydrogen not used as a fuel though it has a high calorific value ?

Both points are stated above are right, hydrogen is both not easily available and it has storage issues. It is also very dangerous due to its flammable nature combined with the fact that it is very expensive to produce in the first place.

These are the major reasons why we do not employ it as a fuel as much.
