why is it called "right circular cone" and "right circular cylinder" ?

Hi!
When the plane containing the circular base is perpendicular to the segment joining the center of the circular base and the vertex, the cylinder is called as right circular cylinder.
Similarly, when then circular base of the cone is perpendicular to the segment joining the circular base and vertex, the cone is called right circular cone.
