why is it so that non green plants such as cuscuta cannot prepare their own food that is why they have heterotrophic mode of nutrition why not parasitic mode of nutrition
Cascutta is a parasitic plant. It does not have chlorophyll. It takes readymade food from the plant on which it is climbing (Host).
