why is LPG filled in cylinders under pressure ?
Because it is a highly combustible liquid gas if it is not kept in proper pressure it will combust .To avoid combustion of LPG we fill it in a cylinder under pressure
Give scientific reasons:
1. A gas exerts pressure on the walls of a closed container.
2. In LPG cylinder, the gas filled is in the liquefied state.
An LPG cylinder can withstand pressure difference of 15 atm across its boundaries. If at room temp (27o) it is filled with 2 atm pressure. Determine the temperature at which it will explode?
