Why is resource planning essential in India ?

Resource planning can be understood as the using the available resource judiciously in a manner that we can use them today and conserve enough for the future generation. In India, there is a need for resource planning because:

• The availability of resources is very less.
• The population is too vast.
• Majority of the population cannot afford to have access to the resources.
• So it is the responsibility of the government to provide them the opportunity to get self-sufficient.
