Open in App
Solution

Intermolecular forces are the forces of attraction between different atoms or molecules of a substance. These arise due to difference in electronegativites of the atoms, formation of instantaneous dipole or due to hydrogen bonding between hydrogen atom of one molecule and O,N or F atoms of other molecule.
