WHY PROCESS OF CONVECTION DOESNOT OCCUR IN SOLIDS

Because in convection medium particles actually moves from one part to the other part. But in solids this is not possible because in this particles (atoms or molecules) are packed tightly so that they can not move from on point to the other point.
