Open in App
Solution

Shearing off skin or flesh only painful and shearing off wool is not painful. The wool is a hardened protein without any sensory structures. It is like our hair and fingernails and that is why it is not painful. But, If shearer handled roughly or injured in the shearing process it would be painful to sheep.
