Question

why should the copies of DNA be separated?

Open in App
Solution

The reproducing cells produce a copy of DNA through some chemical reactions. This, in turn results in the formation of two copies of DNA. Now, these copies need to be separated from each other so that each daughter cell receives its own single set of DNA that is necessary for the function and survival of the two daughter cell.
