Open in App
Solution

The highest concentration of sweat glands is present in our palms and soles. These are known as eccrine glands. These glands produce and dump the sweats on the surface of the skin. To maintain body temperature sweating is necessary. Eccrine sweat glands mainly occur in the skins which are hairless. Thus in palms this type of gland is present in excess.
