Question

why the assets are written in the order of liquidity in the balance sheet

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,
It is not mandatory to show assets and liabilities in order of liquidity or permanence, it is just a way of presenting them and either of them can be followed for the preparation of Balance Sheet.
The method followed is usually prescribed by the policies adopted by the business.

Hope this answers your query.
