why the gaseous state does not take the shape of the container if it takes the shape then how

Solution

The particles in gases are in random motion not fixed at specific points (as in solids). More over they have very little inter molecular attraction. Due to the random motion and lesser intermolecular attraction, they can move from one part of container to other. That is why they can cover all the area of container or in other word take the shape of container.
