why vacuoles are more in number in animal cells than plants?

Solution
Plant cells have a large vacuole due to the amount of water the cell must hold to maintain its shape. It allows plants to support structures such as leaves and flowers due to the pressure of the central vacuole.
Animal cells are having no vacuole or very small sized vacuole in large numbers. Since human cells are in an aqueous environment and get water through many ways. So, for animal cells it is not necessary to have a big sized vacuole.
