Solution

The Kalangs of Java were regarded as skilled woodcutters as they knew how to harvest teak as well as woodwork for construction of buildings and palaces. In 1755, when the Mataram kingdom of Java split, the 6000 Kalang families were divided equally between the two kingdoms.
