Open in App
Solution

A mule is a hybridization product obtained by combining individuals from two different species, a male donkey and female horse. The hybrid or mule is sterile and cannot reproduce further. A species is a self perpetuating group capable of breeding amongst themselves. Hence mule is not a species.
