Write a food chain including snake and hawk. Between snake and hawk, who will have more energy in terms of trophic level and why?

Food chain involving snake and mouse is as follows:
Grass---- Mouse---Snake--- Hawk

Between snake and hawk, snake will have more energy as it lies on lower trophic level ( third trophic level/secondary consumer) than hawk( fourth trophic level/ tertiary consumer). This is because loss of energy occurs as it passes from one trophic level to next. According to 10% law of energy transfer, only 10% of energy passes from one trophic level to the next, rest is lost to the environment.
