Minority groups usually do not have all those resources as compared to other communities. They might even be discriminated and even deprived of many fundamental rights. Since this might also be practiced with children, they may have a handicap in future in various fields. Hence, it is important to treat minority and majority equally in a country. All citizens should be given equal rights and none of them should be deprived of basic rights.
