IRON+OXYGEN+WATER = IRONOXIDE

MAGNESIUM+OXYGEN = MAGNESIUMOXIDE

Solution

Balanced equation for the above question is as follow :

1. IRON+OXYGEN+WATER = IRONOXIDE

4 Fe + 3O2 + n H2O → 2 Fe2O3. n (H2O)

Or we can write it as

4 Fe + 3O2 + 6H2O → 4 Fe(OH)3 which undergoes dehydration to form Fe2O3. n (H2O)

2. MAGNESIUM+OXYGEN = MAGNESIUMOXIDE

2 Mg + O2 → 2 MgO.
