Simple Distillation	Fractional Distillation
It is the method used to separate substances in mixtures with significantly different boiling points.	It is used for mixtures containing chemicals with boiling points close to each other.
It only have one distillation (vaporization-condensation) cycle in the whole process.	It will have at least two cycles.
It will not need any special equipment.	It uses additional equipment called the ‘fractionating column’,
It is often used to separate the liquid substance from the solid substance.	It is not used in such mixtures rather used in liquids.
