Now the integer is 4 more than its additive inverse, means, x is 4 more than -x, it means,

if we add 4 to its additive inverse -x, we get, the integer x.

Thus, the expression will be

x = -x + 4

x + x = 4

2x = 4

x = 2.

Hence, the answer.
