A) Water and sand-
Filtration- Filter the sand water, it will remove sand particles from water.

B)Water, sand and salt.
Filtration- Filter the mixture, it will remove sand particles from water.
Evaporation- Boil the water containing salt, the water will boil off leaving behind salt. The water boiled of can be re-collected by condensation.

C) Water, sugar and iron fillings.
Filtration- Filter the mixture, it will remove iron fillings from water.
Evaporation- Boil the water containing sugar. When enough water boils off, cool the content. The sugar will start crystallising out. (Do not boil the mixture at high temperature as it can burn the sugar.)

D) Corn and husk
Physical method- Corn and husk can be easily separated by hand picking.
