Natural disasters are catastrophic events occur on earth which causes damage to life and property. Such disasters are originated from natural processes such as movement of tectonic plates, eruption of lava, weather variability etc.
Types of natural disasters are:-
i. meteorological disasters such as storms.
ii. hydrological disasters such as flood, tsunami etc.
iii. climatological disasters such as droughts, wildfires etc.
iv. geological disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes etc.
v. health disasters such as epidemics.
vi. space disasters such as impact of meteorites, gamma-ray burst etc.
