Solution

The correct option is C

Both have a normal body temperature.

Correct option: Option C

  1. There are two types of scales used to measure temperature generally, namely, Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  2. The normal temperatures for Fahrenheit and Celsius are 98.6°F and 37°C respectively.
  3. So, both of them have the same temperature, and it is normal.
  4. This can also be verified using the conversion formula C=59F-32, where C is temperature in Celsius and F is temperature in Fahrenheit.
  5. By substituting the value of Fahrenheit in the above expression C=5998.6-32=37°C. Thus, 98.6°F=36°C.
  6. So, this option is correct.

Hence, option C is correct.
