Solution

The correct option is C 1971
The India - Pakistan war of 1971 started on December 3 and it lasted 13 days, which led to the surrender of Pakistan to India and liberation of East Pakistan which is today known as Bangladesh. It started with Pakistani Air Force launching a pre-emptive strike on 11 airfields in northwestern India. The war ended when the chief of Pakistani forces General Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi and his 93,000 troops surrendered to the joint forces of Indian Army and Mukti Bahini.
