Pallavi and Richa start simultaneously from P and Q towards Q and P respectively. They meet on the way at T, which is at a distance of 120 m from P. If Pallavi and Richa take 16 s and 25 s to reach their respective destinations from T, then what is the distance between P and Q?

The correct option is D 216 m
Richa travels 120 m in 25 seconds, therefore, her speed is 4.8 m/s.

Now, Speed of pallavi divided by speed of richa gives 2516=54.

Therefore speed of pallavi = 5×4.8=6m/s

Pallavi takes 16 seconds to reach Q from T, so distance between T and Q is 16×6=96m

Thus, the distance between P and Q is 120+96=216m.

Hence option D is correct.
