Metacrine
Pancreas have both exocrine (Acini – to secrete pancreatic juice to help in digestion of food, here it is an exocrine gland as it releases the secretions into duodenum through pancreatic duct) and endocrine parts (Islets of Langerhans with α, β and Δ cells which secrete glucagon, Insulin and somatostatin). Hence, they are called as Metacrine or Paracrine gland.
