Paragraph for below question
A parallel plate capacitor C1 = 2 μF is charged using an ideal battery of emf E = 10 volts, as shown in figure (i). Now the battery is disconnected and the terminals of C1 are joined to a previously uncharged capacitor C2 = 3 μF, as shown in figure (ii).
