Calyx and corolla are the accessory organs of the flower. Members of calyx are called sepals and that of corolla are called petals. The mode of arrangement of sepals or petals in floral bud w.r.t. other member of the same whorl can be valvate, twisted, imbricate or vexillary. In some plants, stamens may be found to be attached to the petals or perianth. These conditions are called epipetalous and epiphyllous respectively.Q.
