Solution

The correct option is C

Descending limb of Henle’s loop

Descending limb of Henle’s loop is impermeable to salt. In the loop of Henle reabsorption is minimum and it plays a significant role in the maintenance of high osmolarity of medullary interstitial fluid. The descending loop is permeable to H2O while impermeable to electrolytes. The ascending loop is impermeable to H2O and permeable to electrolytes (NaCl).
