Question

Part of the chloroplast where dark reaction occurs?

Open in App
Solution

The "light-free" or dark responses occur in the stroma of the chloroplasts. This is otherwise called the Calvin Cycle. Since these procedures can just occur in the chloroplast (a chlorophyll filled plastid in green plants), photosynthesis can just occur in green plants.
