Fruits which are developed without fertilisation are known as parthenocarpic fruits. These fruits are seedless. True fruits develop from the ovary while false fruits are those that develop from some other part of the flower except the ovary. Since the basis of classification is different, the parthenocarpic fruits are not called true or false.
