Partially digested food in the rumen of grazing animals is called
Grazing animals like sheep, cattle, goats, deer, giraffes, and llamas are ruminant animals. They have a four-chambered stomach. These animals quickly swallow grass and store it in the rumen, the first stomach in a ruminant, where it gets partially digested to form cud. The cud is later returned to the mouth for another round of digestion.
