Solution

The correct option is A C-mast cells ,their granules contain chemicals like histamine, heparin and serotonin.
Areolar connective tissue is a loosely arranged connective tissue that is widely distributed in the Body and contains collagen fibres, reticular fibres and a few elastic fibres embedded in a thin, almost fluid-like ground substance.
A- Fibroblast - responsible for synthesizing (creating) the collagen, elastin, and reticular fibres of the tissue.
B- Collagen fibres- thickest of the fibres within areolar tissue. Collagen fibres provide the tissue with a high degree of stretch while protecting the tissue from tearing.
C- Mast cells - responsible for synthesizing histamines, which act as an immune response to allergens and result in tissue inflammation.
D- Macrophage - these cells phagocytize (eat up) pathogens or germs or infectious cells found in the body
So the answer is 'C-mast cells, their granules contain chemicals like histamine, heparin and serotonin'.
