The notes are in the ratio 2:3:5,

Let the number of ₹1000 notes be 2x, Amount = ₹ 2000x

Number of ₹ 500 notes = 3x, Amount = ₹ 1500x

Number of ₹100 notes = 5x, Amount = ₹ 500x

Total amount = 2000x+1500x+500x=5,00,000 (Given)

4000x=5,00,000

x=125

Number of ₹ 1000 notes = 2×125=250
