No. of 2000 denomination notes Pawan has = $x$

No. of 500 denomination notes Pawan has = $3x$

No. of 100 denomination notes Pawan has = $5x$

For 2000 notes, amount of money = Rs. $2000x$

For 500 notes, amount of money = $3x\times 500$ = Rs. $1500x$

For 100 notes, amount of money = $5x\times 100$ = Rs. $500x$

Total sum = $2000x+1500x+500x=Rs.5,00,000$ (Given)

$4000x=5,00,000$

$x=125$
