Perimeter of a square room is 56m. Another room has one side 2m more then the first but has the same perimeter. Find the length and breadth of the second room.

Given perimeter of square room = 56 m
Let a be length / edge of room then
4a=56
[a=14 cm]
then given another room 1 side = a+2= 16 m and perimeter = 56
then x be another side of room then
2[16+x]=56
2x= 56-32 = 24
[x=12 m]
∴ length of another room is 16 m & breadth of another room is 12 m
