Perimeter of a triangle is 58 cm, and 2 of its sides are 18 cm and 20 cm , find the length of 3^rd side of triangle ?

Solution

Perimeter of triangle = sum of all its sides
∴ 58 cm = 18 cm + 20 cm + 3^rd side
∴Length of 3^rd side = 58 cm – 38 cm = 20 cm
