Peristalsis helps in the movement of food between which two organs.
From oesophagus to stomach
Peristalsis is the involuntary constriction and relaxation of the muscles of the intestine or oesophagus, creating wave-like movements which push the contents of the canal forward. Peristalsis in the digestive tract begins in the oesophagus. After food is swallowed, it is moved down the oesophagus by peristalsis. The muscles in the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine continue the process.
