Solution

The correct option is A Red and green
Cone cells detect and differentiate colour. There are three types of cones that see colour. The L-cone detects long wavelength light (yellow and red), the M-cone detects medium wavelength light (green) and the S-cone detects short wavelength light (blue). Normal vision individual uses all three types of light cones correctly and can distinguish between different colours. Absence, non-functioning, or malfunctioning of any of these cone cells results in colour blindness. The reduced sensitivity to red light and green light leads to red-green colour blindness. Depending on the brightness and saturation of colours, the affected individual can't distinguish between reds, greens, browns and oranges. Hence, option A is correct answer.
