Solution

The correct option is C 1620
Total number of divisions representing all shirts in the pie chart =20

Number of divisions representing green shirts =6

Fraction representing green shirts =620

Fraction of the green shirts he gave to his friend =12

Number of green shirts given to his friend
=12 of fractions representing the total number of green shirts

=12×620=640=320

Number of divisions representing black shirts =2

Fraction representing black shirts=220

Fraction of the black shirts he gave to his brother =12

Number of black shirts he gave to his brother

=12 of fractions representing the total number of black shirts

=12×220=240=120

Total number of shirts he gave altogether =32+120=420

Therefore, number of shirts left = total
− number of shirts Peter gave altogether

=2020420=1620

Fraction of shirts available =1620
