Photosynthesis can be done only in the presence of chlorophyll which is in the green part of plant but what about those which didn't have green color.

Solution

The other coloured leaves do contain chlorophyll but this pigment is masked by some other pigment. So, they carry out photosynthesis easily. But those plants which lack chlorophyll get photosynthetic products from their green hosts.
