Pick the correct function(s) of a neutrophil.
Produces chemicals that kill bacteria.
Neutrophils are the most abundant (40% to 70%) type of white blood cells in most mammals. They form an essential part of the innate immune system. Their main function is the process known as phagocytosis, i.e, engulfing and destroying the bacteria, which is why they are also known as phagocytes. Apart from that, they are also able to produce chemicals that can destroy bacteria.
