The correct options are
C Pallavas - Vikramaditya II
D Chalukyas - Narasimhavarman
Chandragupta I was a prominent ruler of Gupta empire. Gupta dynasty was followed by the Vardhana dynasty whose popular king was Harshavardhana. The Pallavas succeeded them and their notable king was Narasimhavarman. Pulakesin II and Vikramaditya II were the notable kings of Chalukya dynasty. By 740 CE, Vikramaditya II completely conquered vast parts of the Pallava regions, ending their rule in the far south of the subcontinent. But the Pallavas continued to rule well enough for another century. This was not the case for the Chalukyas as they were overpowered by another kingdom, the Rashtrakutas.
