Given total marks $=540$ and 1 complete revolution of circle covers ${360}^{\circ }$
In mathematics subject, central angle $={90}^{\circ }=\frac{90}{360}=\frac{1}{4}$
So, $\frac{1}{4}$ of one complete revolution is $\frac{1}{4}\times 540=135$ marks.
Similar way for other subjects:
English marks $=\frac{55}{360}\times 540=82.5$
Hindi marks$=\frac{70}{360}\times 540=105$
Science marks$=\frac{80}{360}\times 540=120$
Social Science marks$=\frac{65}{360}\times 540=97.50$
Thus, the student scored $105$ marks in Hindi subject.
(ii)
Since, marks scored in mathematics$=135$
Marks scored in Hindi$=105$
Difference in marks $=135-105=30$
Therefore, student obtained $30$ more marks in mathematics than in Hindi.
