Solution

The correct option is A (i) 59 (ii) 1718
No. of fifty-paise coins =100

No. of one-rupees coins =50

No. of two-rupees coins =20

No. of five-rupees coins =10

One coin is drawn at random

Probability that will be the fifty-paise coin
= No. of fifty-paise coins divided by Total no. of coins

=100180=59

The probability that will not be five-rupees coin =(100+50+20)180=1718
